Manager, Product-Related Global Environmental Sustainability and Affairs, SIG

zoomUdo FeltenUdo FeltenUdo Felten is the Manager of Product Related Global Environmental Sustainability and Affairs at the Group Environment, Health and Safety Department of SIG. SIG are one of the world's leading system suppliers of carton packaging and filling machines for beverages and food.

He joined the company in 2004, initially working on political affairs and dealing with environmental topics such as life-cycle assessments, environmental footprinting and forest-related issues. He was responsible for developing the liquid-packaging-board purchasing policy for SIG Combibloc, and is involved in the FSC Chain of Custody Certification for the company’s production sites. In addition, he represents SIG at various European associations, at FSC (International & Germany) and in partnerships with non-governmental organizations including WWF.

Udo has a diploma in forest sciences and a postgraduate state examination in forestry.
